
Belarus' foreign trade in goods increased by 16.9 percent in the first seven months of 2010 to $30,785.7 million, said the National Statistics Committee. The country’s exports reportedly increased by 20.6 percent to 13,292.3 million and imports by 14.2 percent to $17,493.4 million. The deficit in trade in goods thus totaled $4,201.2 million, down from $4,291.3 million in the first seven months of 2009.
